Replay videos appear to show Nixon's initial recovery as players from the opposing team made contact with him.
The league office can review the play in question and issue discipline — such as a fine — at a later date if it determines an illegal hit occurred.

On Monday, Nixon also expressed his lack of interest in returning punts on offense. Instead, the 27-year-old wants to focus on being a starter on a full-time basis.
