Chael Sonnen lectured Daniel Cormier about not interrupting him during their podcast.

Following their fighting careers, Sonnen and Cormier took similar paths in creating MMA content on social media. Former legendary UFC The fighters have their own YouTube channels and also work together on an ESPN show called Good guy/bad guy.

Sonnen and Cormier recently released a video of their predictions for 2025 MMA. Sonnen ended the episode by asking Cormier to stop interrupting him:

“Well, you've been a good partner and definitely a good friend this year. Do I have any favors stored up? Like can I get a favor from you when we go into this break? I want you to do a real in-depth look, but I want you to dig into a word called interruption, I want you To really learn what boycotting is and then I want you to try to come back with the commitment that you're going to do a little bit of it after a year.”

Sonnen continued:

“When my mouth is moving, your mouth is closed. That's how it works. The bad guy and the other guy. If you enjoy being the other guy, listen a little more than you talk.”

Chael Sonnen reveals Hulk Hogan's humility during turns on Colby Covington

On December 14, 2024, the final UFC event of the year was held in Tampa, Florida. in Main eventJoaquin Buckley cemented his status as a welterweight contender with a third-round TKO (doctor stoppage) victory against him. Colby Covington.

One of the biggest takeaways from the match was Covington pulling out. The former interim UFC champion has withdrawn Hulk Hogan and Chael Sonnen, which generated a lot of interest from fans.

During an episode of Good guy/bad guySonnen revealed Hogan's humility backstage before withdrawing:

“It was a great thing, it was Hulk Hogan… The first thing Colby says to him is, 'When I hit the camera, Hulk, I wanted you with the American flag… I'm going to come out after you.'” And Hulk cut away from him and said, “Colby, too far away, I A guest in your home. “You go first, I've got your back… I wouldn't have it any other way.' And that was his attitude from the start and he was very welcome in that dressing room.”

Colby Covington's loss to Joaquin Buckley was his only fight of 2023. The 36-year-old plans to make a comeback in 2025 and likely secure his first UFC win since defeating Jorge Masvidal by unanimous decision in March 2022.
