Napoli could reportedly now be in the mix for a potential move for Manchester United's Marcus Rashford next January.
It seems very likely that Rashford will leave Manchester United this monthwith several top clubs across Europe linking up with the England international in the past few weeks.
As well as the likes of Milan and BarcelonaIt now looks like Napoli could be one to watch in the race for Rashford's signature given the fact that Antonio Conte's side look set to lose Hveica Kvaratskhelia.
Manchester United are ready to move for the Premier League star!
This is according to a report from Daily Mirrorwhich states that Napoli more or less conceded defeat in the hope of keeping Kvaratskhelia, who appears to be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain.
Marcus Rashford to Napoli to replace Hvić Kvaratskhelia?
It's been a tough season for Napoli as they lost their star striker Victor Osimhen in the summer, and it now looks like another important figure in Kvaratskhelia could be heading for the exit door too.
The Georgia international has been a pleasure to watch during his time in Serie A, providing great skill and talent from the left flank, perhaps meaning a big move like this was inevitable at some stage.
However, if Napoli can bring in Rashford in the second half of the season, it could ease the blow of losing such an important attacking player.
Even if Rashford has not been at his best for some time, he has shown that he is a great threat from the left flank when in good form and full of confidence.
Perhaps it's not too surprising that the 27-year-old has lost some motivation at Old Trafford, with a new challenge like this looking like exactly what he needs.
However, the Mirror reports that Rashford's preferred destination will be Barcelona, so it will be interesting to see if Napoli are able to land Kvaratskhelia's much-needed replacement.
