The Pakistan national cricket team has announced the squad for the upcoming Test series against the West Indies national cricket team. The two teams will meet in the two matches that will be held from January 17 to 21 and January 25 to 29.

Shan Masood will lead the 15-man squad, while Saud Shakeel will be the vice-captain of the team. Overall, the Pakistan national cricket team made 7 changes to the squad from the last Test series, which they played against the South Africa national cricket team.

Sajid Khan, who was the team's hero in the England series, has been called into the side along with mystery player Abrar Ahmed. They will line up the spin section with left-arm spinner Noman Ali for the two-match series against the West Indies national cricket team.

Opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq, who last played a Test against Australia in 2023, has been added to the squad for the series along with Mohammad Hurairah. They will replace the injured Saim Ayoub and Abdullah Shafiq in the team.

Aamir Jamal, Mohammad Abbas, Mir Hamza, and Naseem Shah were given a break in the series due to workload management. Instead, the Pakistan national cricket team retained Khurram Shahzad, recalled Mohammad Ali, and included the uncapped Kashif Ali.

Wicket-keeper Hasibullah, who suffered a fracture to the webbing of his right hand during the Cape Town Test, has been ruled out. He will be replaced by Pakistan U19 captain Shaheen Raheel Nazir.
