“I'm fine. My wife got out pretty early. She was actually on the other side and came out, saw the fire, was with some people, and drove to the airport. … Picked up the kids from school. They're all that matters,” he said.

“I went to the hotel, got up at seven o'clock, and drove to Palisades. I had to see it for myself. I was not prepared for what I saw. It was complete devastation and devastation.
