As a fan of all things true crime, I spent my senior year of high school reading Robert Graysmith's books Zodiac and Zodiac exposed books, not knowing that a film adaptation starring Jake Gyllenhaal as the Zodiac-obsessed author was just two years away from starting production. Every few years, I revisit the case because there's something so alluring about a highly publicized serial killer case — especially one that's still open more than 50 years after the elusive killer's first alleged murder in 1968. A series of coincidences and circumstantial evidence

Through Connie's recollection of the events, she reveals how Allen took her and her siblings on a road trip through Taguiguas Beach in 1963, only to leave them in the car while he surveyed the area. When he returned to the car, his hands were covered in blood, so they immediately left the beach.
Years later, the siblings learned that the timeline of their travel with Allen coincided with the murders of Robert Domingos and his fiancée, Linda Edwards, who were killed in the same area. Forensic evidence suggests that the murder was consistent with Zodiac's modus operandi, including pre-cut lengths of rope to bind his subjects, and executing them by shot at close range. While this murder was never “officially” connected to the Zodiac rampage, which began legally in 1968, the Seawater siblings maintain that he was in the area when the crime was committed.
In 1966, another incident occurred involving Allen drugging the brothers and sister during a trip to Riverside Raceway. During this two-day ordeal, which they later realized in life was a mess, the siblings learned that Sheri Josephine Bates may have been stabbed to death while they were unconscious.

It ticks all the boxes itself as a viable suspect.
If you're familiar with the work of Robert Graysmith, the cartoonist turned code-breaking detective who devoted most of his adult life to the Zodiac case, then This is the zodiac to talk is an exceptional piece of supplemental true crime content that you'll want to dig into. If you are just starting to get wet, you may want to learn about the cold case on a more fundamental level because this is a subjective and subjective recollection of events that does not necessarily cover all the physical evidence as provided in other documentaries on the subject.
