Trump also announced that retired Army Captain Sam Brown will serve as the next Under Secretary for Memorial Affairs at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The nominations come as Trump continues to select nominees for his cabinet as January 20 approaches.
The Republican-controlled US Senate will soon begin holding hearings for Trump's nominees for government.
