Zach Bryan He comes to his friends' defense after they claim they were attacked online after he broke up with Brianna “Chickenfree” LaPaglia.
“You're all weirdo warriors attacking and belittling my online friends because you assume I have a girlfriend who's so weird she should be studied for science,” Brian, 28, wrote via a long Instagram Story. On Thursday, January 9th. “Everyone is wondering why I stopped touring and don't want to be associated with music anymore, while you call my friends ugly and harass them?”
Brian added that he was not looking for “sympathy” but wanted to condemn the “low and low” actions of going after his friends.
“Apparently I've had four different girlfriends in about two weeks, and at the same time me and my friends are laughing and hanging out like we always do,” he wrote before clarifying his current relationship status. “I don't have a girlfriend and I don't plan on having one, but I do have regular friends who I love dearly and would go to the ends of the earth for them.”
Brian continued his rant by encouraging others to “go give your attention and your time to this city that is literally burning,” in an apparent reference to Los Angeles fires continue.
“Stop being so sad, moody and childish through screens. Last thing I will say on this matter. I’m crazy that I even have to do this,” he wrote. “You don’t know me. You will never know me. “Stop acting like you do.”
The singer added that instead of attacking people in his inner circle, his critics should talk about him instead because he can handle it.
“I'm allowed to have love, laughter, and good people in my life. No matter how bad of a person you think I am, go ahead and come for me. “I can take all the hate because I'm not a kid,” he wrote in a later Instagram story. “But it doesn't come from Yes, my friends who do nothing but love and care for me. Everyone wants you to have fun and make great music but you guys make it hard to do that with my friends getting insulted and death threats every day.
Brian said he “worked hard” to achieve his success, but the constant chatter from social media makes him want to stay out of the spotlight.
“Whether you think I deserve it or not. Whether you think I'm bad or not. Stop being sad, fat internet detectives to my friends,” he wrote. “We're all human, and I'm so tired of people who think social media is a To get on the moral high ground toward people they've never met? I guess people aren't human anymore as they can hide behind screens? “Geeky man, well, I'm done.”
Brian, in fact, was not finished. He shared another note that he doesn't want others giving him advice on how to “deal with something or things they've never dealt with” themselves.
“I lost my mother, I've been in war zones and I fought the whole fame thing for five years. With respect, I don't need your unsolicited advice, I'm a grown man. “I promise I'll be able to take down some little cyberbullies.” “I'm not “I'm so terrified of the fakeness people say about me online but coming out to people I love and care about is my line and the last straw.”
Brian ended his speech by saying that he had been “jumping” off social media for “a little bit.”
