Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann rebuked a liberal X user after she defended conservative actor James Woods from leftists mocking him for having to flee wildfires in California.

The outspoken leftist told Belcamino, “This is the position that lost the elections. They will not concede, they will not transform, and they will not be human. They must be defeated and any opportunity must be used to harm them or beat them psychologically.”

He added that Woods “especially” deserves this, noting that the actor is “a despicable human being, especially to women.”
Belcamino prompted Olbermann's response by criticizing retired University of Missouri professor Karen Piper for going after Woods.
“James Woods' house is on fire. It's karma calling,” Piper wrote in an X post she later deleted.
The former professor received a wave of reprimands after the post, including an official condemnation from the University of Missouri.
In an email, A A school spokesperson said“The University of Missouri extends its condolences to all those affected by the California wildfires. We find Karen Piper’s statement to be deeply offensive and do not reflect the views or values of the university. We are reviewing this matter.”
Piper later walked back her words, telling The College Fix in a statement that she didn't “I wish anyone harm“.

“The situation in California is heartbreaking and devastating. As a Californian, I am especially dismayed to see the devastation of so many beloved places I used to call home.”
Belcamino criticized Piper, saying, “I'm not a James Woods fan at all but being happy because his house burned down is not the answer. Be better.”
Olbermann intervened, urging the liberal user to fire Piper and encouraging others to worsen the misfortunes of Woods and other conservatives.
Belcamino did not leave the last word to Olbermann, answering that it was his position that cost the left Presidential elections 2024.

“I could write you a long list of things about losing the presidency, the House, the Senate, the popular vote, every swing state, but having an ounce of humanity is not one of them,” she said.
“Kethy, you really learned nothing from 2024, and doubling down on this kind of rhetoric will cost Democrats again in 2028,” Belcamino added.
