WASHINGTON (Reuters) – US President-elect Donald Trump said on Thursday that a meeting was being arranged between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“He wants to meet, and we are arranging that,” Trump said in statements before his meeting with Republican governors at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump did not provide a timetable for the meeting.
