Amad Diallo has said he wants Manchester United to “make our fans proud again” after signing a contract extension until 2030.

Ivory Coast international Diallo, whose previous contract ran until June, has scored six goals and seven assists in 28 appearances in 2024/25, but admitted the season has been “difficult for everyone” at the under-performing club.

The 22-year-old, whose team is closer to the relegation zone than the top eight after one win in seven leagues, said: “I fully believe that we are on the right track and that the future will be truly special.” Matches.

Diallo joined United for £19m from Italian club Atalanta in January 2021 and spent the second half of the following season on loan with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
