The fires in Los Angeles County looked like a “war zone,” according to one resident.
People at the Pasadena evacuation center also described watching flames sweep through their neighborhoods as they quickly fled Altadena, where the Eaton Fire broke out.
There are at least five active fires in the county and surrounding areas.
