In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced that Ken Case would serve as Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy.
Case, who worked as a tax attorney for 47 years, served as FBI chief of staff Joint Committee on Taxation and chief Republican tax counsel on the House Ways and Means Committee.
Also joining the team is Alexandra Britt, who Trump appointed as a senior advisor to the secretary.

Trump appointed Hunter McMaster to serve as his director of policy planning, and Daniel Katz was appointed to serve as his chief of staff.
Trump wrote that Katz is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a graduate of Yale University. Katz also served as a senior advisor at the Treasury Department.
Trump appointed Samantha Schwab, the deputy chief of staff at the Treasury Department, where she worked The White House Office of Legislative Affairs during the President-elect's first term.

“They are all wonderful, hardworking patriots who will work tirelessly to make America great again,” Trump said of the team.
In addition to the appointments to the Treasury Department, Trump announced that Benjamin Leon James will be the next US ambassador to Spain.

Popolo also serves as Founder and CEO of Charles & Potomac Capital, LLC; and Chairman of Pinnacle Live, LLC; And as a board member of Ondas Holdings.
“Joe is the winner of the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award and also received the Dallas Business Journal's Most Admired CEO Award,” Trump wrote. “He is a proud graduate of Boston College, a member of its Board of Trustees, and also a patron of the arts at the Vatican Museum.”

Trump also appointed Cora Alvey to be his deputy chief of staff.
