In his first year hosting “Wheel of Fortune”, Ryan Seacrest He totally has a goal for 2025.

During an interview with Fox News Digital, the longtime TV anchor took charge Pat Sajak's “WoF” Hosting Duties. Along with Vanna White in September, he spoke about his hopes for next year's episodes.

“I'm always impressed and grateful for what the show meant to me even before I started working there and what it means to so many people and generations across the country,” the “American Idol” host said while attending NBC's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. Dec. 6 at Intuit Dome. “I love donating money. I'm thrilled when people win money, and they win a lot of money. I hope to donate a million dollars in 2025.”

In June 2023, Sajak announced that he would exit the show. A week later, it was announced that Seacrest would also be in attendance Take over as host In season 42.

After the series finale of Sajak aired earlier this year, Seacrest started doing just that Social media To bid farewell to the long-time host.

“Pat, congratulations on your amazing run with Wheel of Fortune! Your dedication, charm, and wit have made the show a beloved part of American television for decades,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself, Sajak and White. “Your partnership with Vanna has been nothing short of iconic, and together, you have created countless amazing memories for viewers. You have set the standard for hosts everywhere, and this marks the end of an era. Best wishes to all of you in your future endeavours!”

During the final episode of Sajak's series, which was taped in April, Sajak delivered a message Emotional farewell speech.

“Well, it's time to say goodbye,” he said. “I have a little thank you before I go, and I want to start with everyone you're watching out there. It's been an incredible honor to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade.”

“I've always felt that with this privilege comes a responsibility to keep this daily half-hour a safe place for family fun,” Sajak continued. “No social issues, no politics, nothing embarrassing I hope, just a game.”

“But it gradually became more than that,” he added. “A place where children learn letters, where people from other countries hone their English skills, where families gather with friends, neighbors, and entire generations.”

“What an honor to play even a small role in all of this,” Sajak concluded. “Thank you for letting me into your lives.”

Before his debut, the brand expert Eric Schiffer “Wheel” viewers are in good hands with Seacrest and his media mind, he exclusively told Fox News Digital.

“A lot of people are asking: 'Can he pull it off? Will he destroy it? Will he piss off the fans?'” Schiffer said. “Ryan has a sixth sense for how to make edits, and the edit here is to tone down his energy until he builds audience trust. Next, I think he can use some of the techniques he mastered on 'Idol' to increase engagement and grow the audience.

“It's a pretty negative show, compared to “American Idol” Where there is a lot of interaction. “They have to push the bill to younger audiences.”

“I think the challenge for Ryan will be to build enough trust in the early stages where he can bring all of his magic to grow the brand and grow the audience without losing old fans, and that will come with confidence and comfort,” Schaefer said. “The star remains the game itself.”
