“The cold days you have — the bad always outweighs the good,” she said with a laugh when asked what she remembers most about her time on “Baywatch.”

The actress – who is currently battling cancer – played lifeguard Summer Quinn in two seasons of “Baywatch” from 1992 to 1994. “And celebrity has funny things, because the '90s are now full of nostalgia again,” Eggert continued. “So, it's really fun, because people are excited to think about the actors and actresses of the '90s and the people they watched.”

“So, it's a fun time now because the '90s are back, so it's good for me,” she added, laughing.

Eggert recently produced a docu-series on Hulu called “Baywatch: Moment in the Sun,” which looked at how the show became an international sensation and the ups and downs the actors faced after suddenly rising to fame. According to Hulu, the docuseries features never-before-seen home videos and interviews with more than 35 cast members and creators.

In an August interview with People magazine, Eggert said that working on the docuseries and raising her 12-year-old daughter, Keegan, motivated her in her battle with cancer.

“Having a young daughter and having this project was a huge motivation for me to not sit and think about my health and well-being,” Eggert, who is also a mother to daughter Delaine, 25, told the outlet.

“It gives me purpose,” she added. “It keeps me driven every day. I think life is always timed for a reason. It's been a great distraction, and my girls have kept me on my toes.”

After her diagnosis, Eggert underwent a mastectomy. The actress completed chemotherapy earlier this year and recently began radiation therapy.

While speaking with Fox News Digital, Eggert shared that the “Baywatch” stars have offered their support during her health struggles. She noted that she was “in the middle of filming Baywatch: Moment in the Sun” while undergoing treatment, and several members of her cast showed up. In docuseries.

“So, I was in close contact with most of the actors,” she said. “Almost all of the cast. And yeah, a lot of them have been very supportive and reached out to me. Alexandra Paul, Brande Roderick, Jenna Lee, Erika Eleniak… David Chokachi, those are the people who are really kind of checking up on me. Making sure I'm okay and that's nice.”

The actress also thought about what advice she would give herself when she was younger.

“I would tell myself when I was younger not to be afraid of life, but to go out and enjoy things more,” she said. “You have nothing to lose. Live your life, you know?”

She continued, “I spent so many years being afraid and holding things and covering them up and pretending everything was okay. And you don't have to do this. You don't have to do this.”

She added: “It feels so good to face the darkness and bring that darkness into the light and just have fun. It's not that serious.”
