An international airport and a power station in Yemen were among the targets of a series of air strikes launched by Israel on Thursday.

Houthi media reported that three people were killed and more than ten others were injured in the raids.

Footage from the airport in the capital, Sanaa, shows chaos inside the terminal as passengers fled, while the air control tower was damaged.

In the coastal city of Hodeidah, a power station was bombed, causing a large fire.

The Iran-backed Houthi rebel group described the attacks as “barbaric.”

The Israeli army said in a statement that “its combat aircraft carried out intelligence strikes on military targets belonging to the terrorist Houthi regime on the western coast and inside Yemen.”
