While some spend Christmas Day at home around the tree, many people head straight to the movie theater. Fortunately, whether you need a family-friendly movie or want to get ahead of the awards season screenings, there are plenty of movies you can see in theaters on December 25.
New movies in theaters on Christmas Day 2024
Kid-friendly options have been released previously (more on those later), so the Christmas Day release slate consists largely of R-rated flicks starring bigwigs.
