The Indian women's cricket team is making full progress in the ongoing white-ball series against West Indies at home. After winning the T20I series, India Women continued their dominance in the ongoing three-match ODI series against the West Indies women's cricket team.

The Indian Girls won their first ODI by 211 runs, and will now look to extend their dominance in the ongoing second ODI against West Indies Women at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, 24 December. The ongoing ODI series is part of the ICC Women's Championship.

India Women dominate West Indies with a record total of 358/5 in the second ODI

Speaking about the second ODI in Vadodara, Indian women's cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and chose to bat first against West Indies Women, and her batsmen did not disappoint. India managed to post a record total of 358/5 in 50 overs in the ongoing second ODI.

Indian openers Smriti Mandhan and Pratika Rawal gave India Women a blistering start, adding 110 runs in 99 balls before the senior batsman was run out by Karishma Ramharak for 53 runs off 47 balls, studded with seven boundaries and two sixes against West Indies.

Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol then combined for another 62-run partnership off 75 balls to pave the way for the powerful middle order before India's women's opener was departed by Zaida James for a stunning 76 runs off 86 balls, laced with a ten-ball knock. Limits and maximum one.

Harleen Deol got her highest ODI score against West Indies Women

Well, Harleen Deol continued her batting and added 43 runs for the third wicket with captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who fell to Afy Fletcher for just 22 runs in the ongoing second ODI against West Indies. Meanwhile, this was the time of Jemima Rodriguez and Harleen Deol.

Harleen Deol smashed 16 boundaries during her masterclass against West Indies in the ongoing second ODI at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium. Later, Ritesh Ghosh (13*) and Deepti Sharma (4*) added an unbeaten 17 runs off 10 balls to take India to 358/5 on the board against West Indies.

To add another feather to their cap, the Indian women's team has also crossed the 200-run mark twice in ODIs this year, a feat they have failed to achieve in their history. Currently, India are looking for another big win over the West Indies, having taken three wickets for just 40 runs.
