The India national cricket team is undergoing intense training sessions in Melbourne

The India national cricket team is undergoing intense training sessions in Melbourne as they look to win the fourth Test of the series. The focus, in particular, will be on the team's two senior players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who have been under immense pressure.

Rohit and Kohli reportedly looked very strong in the nets. They have ticked almost all the boxes right and are making sure to leave no stone unturned in their preparations for the next match of the series, which will be a virtual series decider.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were unhappy with the fans screaming and demanding certain shots into the net.

But both the Indian national cricket team players also felt uncomfortable during the training session. This was because they were not happy with the way some fans came to watch the nets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.

Reports claimed that fans were shouting and demanding some shots from Rohit and Virat. This did not go down well with the senior players in the team as they expressed their disappointment over this.

The Indian team after the first Test in Perth closed the doors to the fans. This was due to reports that fans abused some players, who complained about the same, and hence, the Rohit Sharma-led team trained behind closed doors, but fans were present at the MCG.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were not at their best in Tests

Coming in the form of Rohit and Kohli, both batsmen were not at their best in the longest format of the game. The India captain looked nervous with the bat as he managed just 19 runs in the two matches he played while batting in the middle order.

Virat Kohli, on the other hand, started his Australian tour on a high as he concluded a stylish century in Perth. But after that, he struggled to get going and only managed 26 pitches in the next two games he played, as he was outfielded.

Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be keen to strengthen the team in the last two matches. If the Indian national cricket team has to fancy its chances of winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, it will want both its senior players to bring their A game.
