In a selfie taken by Hudson, Belichick was caught with his eyes closed while leaning his forehead toward Hudson.
While the photo itself may not have been perfect, the rest of the event — which Hudson described as “more than just an amazing night at the museum” — certainly was.

As the daughter of a former fisherman, “philosopher” and “natural heritage activist,” Hudson spoke enthusiastically about the work of the museum, which opened in 1871.

Hudson and Belichick made their relationship official in October 2024 when the former college cheerleader first posted photos of the pair via Instagram. The duo initially met while sitting next to each other on a plane in 2021, while Hudson was still in college.
Belichick signed a five-year, $50 million contract to be the new head football coach at the University of North Carolina on December 11.
Hudson was front and center in his introductory press conference held at the school's Chapel Hill campus, and hinted that it I planned to make the move with Belichick.
“We're in Chapel Hill!!!” Hudson posted on her Instagram story along with the university's announcement of Belichick's hiring.
Belichick's decision to move to college football sent shockwaves through the sports world. He previously won six Super Bowls as head coach of the NFL's New England Patriots during his 24-year tenure with the franchise, before they decided to part ways in January 2024.
In a statement after his appointment was announced, Belichick said his family history played a role in his decision. Belichick's father, SteveHe was an assistant coach at North Carolina State from 1953 to 1955.
“I am excited for this opportunity at UNC-Chapel Hill,” Belichick said in a statement. “I grew up playing college football with my dad and appreciate those times. I've always wanted to coach in college and now I'm looking forward to building the football program at Chapel Hill.”
