The company has struggled to raise money, and last month an agreement with the owner of Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock and Zulily, which would have come with a $40 million cash infusion, collapsed. The Container Store said in a regulatory filing that it does not believe it can match the financing requirements for the partnership with Beyond Inc.
