“What's different is what the medication does for you, which is that I don't feel like I'm on a diet,” the playwright explained. “I feel like a normal person. I can go to dinner with friends and not have to eat every piece of bread on the table and then not go get ice cream after I'm done eating dinner.”

“I know what it's like to be as full as a normal person.”

The “Mulan” actor claimed that “people don't understand that obesity is not a choice.”

“It's something that throws your body out of control, and that puts your body in chaos,” Fairstein explained.

“I'm a big believer in it,” he added of the drug.

Many celebrities have taken the weight-loss drug route since Ozempic — including Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Clarkson And Sharon Osbourne.

However, the drug that was first approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2017 to treat type 2 diabetes isn't always right for everyone. “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan revealed that he “ate out” on Ozempic and actually gained weight while taking the medication.

“I've learned to eat out of Ozempic,” the comedian said during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in March. “I outplayed Ozempic. I gained 40 pounds. I'm like Magic Johnson. I gained 40 pounds.”
