A homeowner in Georgia was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing after she tried to return to her home, which she was said to be living in. SquatterAccording to WSB-TV.

Homeowner Lolita Hill said: “Seeing that woman entering my mother's house while I was in the police car means there is something wrong with this picture. There is something inherently wrong with this picture.” He told WSB-TV.

The incident occurred on December 9, after Hill returned to her home to clean up, after a judge ruled in her favor in a months-long battle with Sachemia Johnson, the alleged squatter.

Hill “carried out an illegal eviction and forcibly took Ms. Johnson's belongings,” police said, according to WSB-TV.

“I spent the night on a mat on a concrete floor in deplorable conditions. While this woman slept in my house,” Hill told the outlet.

Police confirmed with the judge that Hill did not have a “signed possession order,” which would have allowed Hill to legally fire Johnson.

“She just followed us out of nowhere. She had this guy with her, and she locked the door. She closed the screen door, and he forced himself to ask us out,” Johnson told police of the incident.

Hill told the outlet she believed Johnson had left the house after she obtained the victory in court in November.

“I came back Monday to start painting and I had the locks broken on my property,” Hill said.

Johnson has not been charged with any crimes, according to WSB-TV.

The Clayton County Police Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
