The 24-year-old singer-songwriter posted on social media that she will no longer be affiliated with the country star Kelsea Ballerini On her next tour. This is Ballerini's first arena tour.
“As most of you know, I have been on the road a lot over the past few years, and the constant travel has taken a toll on my mental health,” Peters wrote in his essay. A post shared by Text Via Instagram and X. “After thinking a lot about it, I have made the difficult decision to step back now and focus on looking after myself.”
Peters continued her heartfelt message to fans, writing that her decision to leave the tour was difficult.
“I absolutely love performing and being with all of you, so this was not an easy call: however I need some time to recharge my batteries, spend more time with my family, and make sure the album is everything I want it to be,” she continued. Most importantly, I need to get back to feeling like the best version of myself when I get on stage in front of all of you.”
She ended her statement by confessing to her fans while apologizing for the change in plans.
“Thank you all for your amazing support,” she wrote. “I'm sorry to those I've disappointed and I hope you can understand. I'll be cheering Kelsey on from the sidelines – she's going to give a great show and I'm so excited for her. Love you all.”
Last October, Peters wrote on social media that she was excited to open a Ballerini store, citing her as an early influence.
“Secret out, I'll be touring with Ms. Kelsea Ballerini next year,” she wrote on Facebook at the time. “Kelsey has been one of my favorite artists since I was a young songwriter and he raps Love Me Like You Mean It on my iPod touch, Showcase Map Welcome and continues to inspire me every time I listen to it.”
The English singer has opened up before Taylor Swift During the Eras Tour, during the tour's August 19 stop in London.
Ballerini's tour will stop in 30 cities across the United States, and will begin on January 21, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She will be on tour to promote her latest album titled Patterns.
