Thursday's match was full of drama but was low in terms of defensive quality, as the match left those watching at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium completely confused.
However, it was not just fans, as Agbonlahor criticized Tottenham's “clownish” defence Man United.
“It was like two sets of clowns playing with each other. The defence… Spurs going forward was very good,” the former Aston Villa striker said. talkSPORT Friday.
“Manchester United woke up a bit in the second half thanks to some mistakes from Forster, but the defence, fantastic.
“I hit the Southampton defence, but great. I don't blame Forster at all, I blame the manager and the rest of the players.
Regarding Forster’s mistake-riddled performance, Agbonlahor continued: “Forster, how long has he been around now, he is 37 years old. He has always been a shot-stopper, never a two-footed stopper.
“I've played with a lot of goalkeepers who, if they were playing now, would be just like Forster. They don't want that.”
