West Ham United hopes to take advantage of the point it gained from Bournemouth when it hosts Brighton & Hove Albion at the London Stadium.

The visitors have a tremendous head-to-head record in this fixture, having lost just one of their 14 Premier League meetings, but their fast start to the season has slowed of late.

Julen Lopetegui has bought himself more time by taking four points from the last six available, but he will know that a win here could be vital ahead of West Ham's festive/New Year's clashes with… Liverpool and Manchester City.

here 90 minutes Game preview.

West Ham They will be without Carlos Soler, who is suspended for the visit of Brighton – with the Spaniard picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 1-1 draw with Bournemouth on Monday night.

Michail Antonio is expected to miss the rest of the season due to injuries he suffered in a traffic accident: Technical director Lopetegui announced recently It was a “miracle” that the 34-year-old was not more seriously hurt.

Crescencio Summerville could come into the side in place of Soler, with West Ham increasing the attack, but Niklas Volkrug could also be placed up front with Jarrod Bowen moving out wide.

Expected West Ham lineup against Wolverhampton (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kelman, Emerson; Alvarez, Soucek; Kudos, Paquita, Summerville; Bowen.

Danny Welbeck

Brighton There are still a number of players on the bench, which will undoubtedly hamper the progress Fabian Horzler's side have made at the start of the season.

Danny Welbeck has missed two of Brighton's last three matches with an ankle injury and will miss the trip to the capital. Ferdi Kadioglu, James Milner, Jack Hinshelwood and Solly Marsh are still sidelined with various ailments, but Adam Webster and Matt O'Reilly are training again and could be available.

Joel Veltman is ready to bolster Albion's defensive options.

Brighton's expected lineup against West Ham (4-2-3-1): consume; Veltman, Dunk, Van Hecke, Estupinan; Baliba, Ayari; Mente, Rooter, Mitoma; John Pedro

The last thing West Ham needs is to visit a team they have never beaten at home in the Premier League.

Yes, the Hammers looked capable of stepping things up away from home, putting in strong performances against Newcastle and Bournemouth, but things are not great when they are expected to be on top.

There is enough quality to hurt a Brighton side that has lost momentum, but Hammers fans will know there is a long-term mental hurdle that looks very difficult to overcome. Albion are plagued by injuries preventing key players from achieving a big win at the London Stadium, increasing the pressure on Lopetegui in the process.

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Brighton
